Our story
Miljø Norge was founded in 2021 with a vision to save lives and the environment. The company was launched with the belief that the solutions of the future must be based on smarter resource use, reuse, and circular value creation.
From our facilities in Lier, we develop systems and products that help reduce waste and improve the utilization of society’s resources. Through innovation and practical solutions, we work to make sustainability a natural part of everyday life for both businesses and people.
Today, Miljø Norge consists of about 25 employees in management and production. Together, we develop circular solutions for the future, with the goal of creating lasting environmental benefits and a safer world for future generations.
We make it natural to choose circular products that reduce society’s carbon footprint
Our first solution
Miljø Norge is the first company to undertake the process of servicing refurbished fire extinguishers on a scale that meets market demand. We have designed a circular business model in which refurbished products replace new ones. Outdated fire extinguishers are incorporated into our service process and returned to the customer, as good as new. For each product group, we have environmental documentation that demonstrates the value of choosing a circular solution over the traditional purchase of a new product. With this solution, you save 4 kg of virgin steel and 38 kg of CO2 by reusing a fire extinguisher.

Our Group Structure
Through Slåkkefabrikken, we give fire extinguishers a new lease on life. Every recycled fire extinguisher reduces CO₂ emissions by 38 kg and contributes to better utilization of natural resources.
We follow the principles of the waste pyramid, which prioritizes reuse over material recycling.
Nordic Assets is the international name for Miljø Norge and is used in markets outside Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. Under this name, we continue to offer the same expertise, the same solutions, and the same focus on the circular economy, sustainability, and smarter resource utilization.
